Sponsorship Definitions and Descriptions 

Exclusive sponsorship rights: Your business/organization/group will be the sole sponsor affiliated with a specific event date. Offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Category exclusive sponsorship rights: Your business/organization/group will be the sole sponsor/vendor within its product or service category affiliated with a specific event date. Offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Webpage listing: Each program and event has a dedicated webpage on the Village’s website, www.vhw.org. Your logo will be posted to this page. Premier listings will be at the top of the webpage and will include contact information and a direct link to your website.

Weekly e-blast: The Village sends an e-blast every Thursday afternoon. Your logo and a direct link to your website will be included in this electronic publication that is sent to over 5,200 email addresses.

Special event e-blast: The Village sends an e-blast which only includes event information. This may be sent on the event date, or the week prior to the event. Your logo will be included in this electronic publication that is sent to over 5,200 email addresses.

Facebook & Instagram: The Village will post your business/organization/group’s logo to the Village’s social media platforms - Facebook (@villageofhawthornwoods) and Instagram (hawthorn_woods). The Village has over 2,800 followers on social media.

Printed newsletter: The Village publishes, prints, and mails four newsletters per year to all Hawthorn Woods addresses. Your logo will be included in one of these publications. We do our best to include you in the issue where the sponsored event is promoted.

Event sponsor signage: The Village provides your business/organization/group with your logo or name printed on a sign or banner that is posted at the sponsored event. Please ask about specifics for signage provided at your sponsored event.

Signage rights: Your business/organization/group may post a sign, banner, or flag with your logo and information at the event site. Signage type and content must be approved by the Village. The Village reserves the right to remove any signage for any reason. Please contact us to coordinate your signage prior to making any purchases.

Speaking rights: Your business/organization/group may speak to the event attendees no more than to 2 minutes.

Vendor booth: Your business/organization/group may set up a booth at the sponsored event. A booth includes an 8-foot-long table and 2 chairs. If you need additional setup, please contact us in advance. Vendors have the right to sell items, promote services, and distribute handouts.
