The most wonderful time of the year is here and the Lake County Symphony Orchestra, the only professional orchestra in Lake County, is ready to bring you cheer! Join us at their premiere concert in Hawthorn Woods for a wonderful afternoon of Christmas delights! Tickets are $40/person; children under 5 are free.

The concert begins with Handel's legendary part one of "Messiah". Instead of the choir, we have four amazing guest vocalists performing the work as soloists. After intermission, you'll be treated to a Christmas coupling of "Nutcracker Sweets". This portion of the program features Tchaikovsky's well known playful "Nutcracker", with jazz legend Duke Ellington's gleeful take on it. The concert is complete with musicians, a cozy intimate setting, and Christmas cheer overflowing!
