Pool Rules - COVID-19

Open Swim Pool Rules

  • Pool will only be open to 220 patrons at a time. No reservations will be required
  • At this time there will be no group admissions because of the limited number of people allowed in the facility.
  • Guests may contact pool directly to get current patron totals and see total patron count.
  • Block schedule will be utilized.
  • Late arrival to swim block will still require full admission payment, and will have reduced time to swim.
  • All patrons must leave the facility at the end of block session to allow staff to disinfect and clean facility.
  • Patrons may attend back-to-back swim blocks. But guests must leave facility for 30 minutes between sessions and will not need to pay each time.
  • Deck furniture cannot be moved from location on deck due to social distancing guidelines.
  • No toys, or shared equipment will be distributed.
  • Life jackets will be available for use. Upon returning them, patrons will place them in the dirty bin. Life jackets will be cleaned and disinfected before additional use.
  • Staff will wear masks when directly in contact with patrons and 6 ft. cannot be maintained.
  • Bathrooms and showers will be available for limited use. (no lockers)
  • Patrons should enter the facility prepared to swim.
  • Bathrooms will be cleaned throughout the day.
  • 30-minute breaks between sessions will be utilized to sanitizer gutters, deck chairs, equipment, and bathrooms.
  • Lost and found will be disposed of every other day. (We will keep items of increased value jewelry, phones, wallets ect.)
  • Concessions will not be sold at the facility. Vending machines will be available.
  • Physical cues such as tape on the deck and set furniture groups will be utilized to note social distancing when entering the facility, using the diving board, and sitting areas.
  • Guards on stand will not be required to wear a mask and must not be approached by guests/patrons.
  • Patrons must wear a mask while on the pool deck.
  • While in the water, masks will not be required. Also, lounging with family or eating in the designated table area will not require a mask to be worn. This mask rule will apply to after-hours party rentals.
  • Guests may bring food into facility and utilize the concessions area to eat.
  • No glass allowed.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for use at the pool.
  • Any patron showing signs and symptoms of being sick will be restricted access from the facilities.
  • No refunds will be issued.
  • Patrons will be asked to abide by social distancing guidelines to protect our guests and staff.
  • Patrons will be asked to leave facilities if they cannot follow guidelines.
  • Patrons understand that by attending facilities they are assuming risk and possible exposure to COVID-19. If anyone in your party is sick, do not attend programs or facilities until cleared by medical professionals.
  • Guests are encouraged to bring their own water bottles. Water fountains will be unavailable.
  • Guest are encouraged to come ready to swim in their suit and only utilize bathrooms/locker rooms if absolutely necessary.
  • Guests should wait in their cars until 15 minutes before session starts
  • Patrons will be screened with a CDC COVID-19 questionnaire verbally when entering the facility.
  1. Have you traveled outside the US in the past 30 days?
  2. Have you traveled to a US City/State with high reported cases of COVID-19 in the past 30 days?
  3. Have you been in personal contact with a person infected with COVID-19 or who has traveled to an area with widespread and ongoing transmission of COVID-19 in the past 30 days?
  4. In the last 48 hours have you experienced:
    • A fever of over 99.5°
    • Coughing
    • Sore Throat
    • Difficulty Breathing
    • Muscle Aches
    • Stomach Pain
  • Lap swim will be restricted to a total of 6 guests (three lanes with two swimmers each).
  • Lap swimmers must start on opposite ends of lane and use split swim technique.
  • Programs will have max numbers based on a total guest count of 220.
  • Deck chairs/loungers will be restricted to two chairs/loungers per family group. Guests may bring in their lounge/lawn chairs.
  • Deck furniture cannot be moved from location on deck due to social distancing guidelines.
  • General class equipment will be disinfected before and after use.
  • Lap swimmers must bring their own equipment.
  • Staff will wear masks when directly in contact with patrons and 6 ft. cannot be maintained.
  • Bathrooms and showers will be available for limited use. (No lockers)
  • Bathrooms will be cleaned throughout the day.
  • Concessions will not be sold at the building. A vending machine containing bottled water and other refreshments will be available for purchase on Deck and outside the front entrance.
  • Patrons must wear a mask while on the pool deck.
  • While in the water, lounging with family or eating in the designated table area will also not require a mask to be worn. This mask rule will apply to after hours party rentals.
  • Classes will maintain distance and not interact with other programs sharing pool space.
  • Parents/Guardians of program participants must remain in vehicles during programs.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available for use at the pool.
  • General program patrons will utilize the main entry.
  • No re-entry is permitted after leaving the deck.
  • Any patron showing signs and symptoms of being sick will be restricted access from the facilities.
  • Patrons will be asked to abide by social distancing guidelines to protect our guests and staff.
  • Patrons will be asked to leave facilities if they cannot follow guidelines.
